Herringbone Wool Throws

Herringbone is one of the most recognisable weaves in textiles: a V-shaped zigzag pattern named after the bones of a herring. It gives a throw subtle texture and depth, whether in a bold colour or a classic neutral.

Our herringbone throws are woven on the West Coast of Ireland and in Wales, in pure wool, soft merino lambswool and 100% linen. Irish herringbone throws measure 200 x 145 cm, many finished with contrasting tassels and coloured edges. We also offer herringbone picnic blankets with a waterproof backing.
